THE JOURNEY
2018 - 2019
I started off getting intrested in STEM by taking part in a School Water Rocket Competition. The first time I watched the way a water rocket flew had an immense impact on me when I was 15.
Took part in various HighSchool Innovation Compeitions and Science Tournaments such as National Water Rocket Competition

After finishing high school now it's time to embark on the journey that I truly seek without the limitations of the school syllabus. Join me on this website as I begin my journey of self-improvement, tech learning and invention.
I finished highschool.

I began learning python and computer aided design.
The main reason behind learning this is because I truly believe skills out weights academics in the society. That doesn't mean that academics is not important, I believe academics is just part of the journey of our life and as a recognition but the real skills will still be more useful. I'm learning python at a website called Computer Science Circle by University of Waterloo and FreeCad on youtube.
1/2/2021
I began learning Kali Linux and Ethical Hacking. Such as Aircrack-ng, nmap, metaspoitable, wireshark and etc.
Broadening my knowledge in the tech field is very important to me as my future career depends on it. Especially on the security side of technological things since privacy matters in this digital age. Learning this can not only help me defend myself from cyber malware, I can also let my friends and family members know so that they don't fall from the tricks most hackers use.

I began learning networking, Cento OS 8 and how to set up a LAMP Server, also redownloaded the OS of a 7 year old computer running Pentium 997 1.6ghz.
I have set up a LAMP server of my own. Now is time to learn front-end and back-end developer so that I can begin putting contents onto my website. Not to mentioned I also learned how to convert my pendrive into a boot drive, downloaded the OS ISO image and learned how to run the installation. It was great.

I built my first custom built PC for a client.
I always wanted to build a PC with the knowledge I have but I never have the capital to do so. This is definitely a great learning experience. I ran into some errors such as wrong CPU fan placement, slotting RAM into the wrong RAM slot, and some wrong wiring. I learned a lot from this build as it is my first.
21/4/2021
I turned my laptop into a double boot system, which is Windows and Pop OS (a Debian , Ubuntu based Linux distro OS)
After spending much time with Linux, I felt that Linux offers more freedom and customizability than Windows, but I still love windows, so there can only be one possibility. By creating a dual-boot system, I can choose which ever OS I want to use by using a GRUB boot menu. Grub also mal-funcitons sometimes, therefore I needed to learn how to use Grub as well to mitigate issues that comes along the way.

I began learning full-stack developer, learning languages like HTML5,CSS,Javascript and PHP.
I stopped learning python and CAD as I realize I need to focus on this more in order to fulfill my career goal as a Software Engineer. The learning curve is quite steep but I'm not stopping since I have a lot of free time right now after my examinations. PHP feels similar to python while javascript is harder to learn compared to HTML5 and CSS

So I can accelerate my process of learning and advance to degree in my future studies. Not only that, I can also connect and socialise with like minded people while increasing my marketability in the job market next time.
Started College with the course Diploma in Software Engineering
1/12/2021 - THROUGHOUT 2022
Started Learning how to use Ubuntu and Ubuntu Server, Also Learned Networking Basics
I started learning how to use Ubuntu and Ubuntu Server in order to host my own website with my own hardware. I had to first get used with the command line interface ubuntuserver offers and learn the filesystem, permissions, port opening firewall, docker, ssh and many more. Than I have to learn how networking work in order to bring my server outside of my house, things such as port forwarding, domain name system, ip addressing, network layer and mnay more.

Took Part in KitaHack 2023
My End Note:
To all my precious team members , As KitaHack2023 comes to an end , I would like to thank everyone here for giving their best shot into the unknown. I am proud of what each and everyone of you have done. Without you guys, this couldn't have became a reality, it was because of your inputs into making this ultimate decision. Out of 60 teams throughout Malaysia, qualifying for the Top 10 was a miracle for us. Not to mentioned we were also the only diploma students where as all of our other competitor was either doing Degree Final year or doing their Masters. We could have won because of our great idea , but our technical skills just couldn't out compete those that were few years ahead of us. After some thinking , Other reasons include: - we barely touched java and had to do a full fledge app with flutter - the timing was quite unfortunate as we were quite busy at this time BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, We should feel way lighter now as one thing has been lifted off our shoulders, not to mention we have also learned ALOT from this event, so I have 0 regrets taking part in this competition as it was an amazing journey and one hell of a ride. As a team leader, I apologise if I have mislead this event in any way ; have not meet your expectations in being a Leader ; too harsh with my words ; misunderstood any of you ; as I am still a human trying my very best to improve and get better everyday so I hope any of you can forgive me. All and all , it was a GREAT experience and I would definitely do this again if given the chance. FOR KitaHack 2025 Ill comeback at them with better technical skills this time and make sure I did better than this time! "Racing time, chasing the future." "Passion. Innovation. Invention." Yours Sincerely, Sean Ng Your Team Lead, signing off.

Took Part in LV99 48 Hour GameJam
My Closing Note:
Dear my precious Teammates,
As the 48 hour gamejam comes to an end, I would like to thank everyone for giving their best shot into something we have yet to dip our foots into before, which is developing a game. Its crazy to think how we successfully developed a game within less than 48 hours in less than a weeks worth of learning C# and Unity. This proves that nothing is impossible to achieve as long as we put our minds to it. I would like to thank everyone of you here for making this gamejam participation a reality, without you guys this wouldn't have been possible. As a leader I would like to apologise if I lead the team in the wrong direction or didn't hear your opinion and took it into account as I'm still a human and still trying my best to perfect myself. This event was definetly one hell of an experience and I learned alot from this event and I hope you guys did too. If given the chance I would definetly take part in it again as this kind of event proved challenging, fun and are able to learn something new all at the same time. Till than , have a good rest and recover some sleep lost from the event, while you still can. :D
Your Team Lead, Signing Off.
Sean Ng.
